Where am I on the job train?

In recent weeks as many of you know I have been frivolously applying to jobs, career jobs, and had some interviews. So here is the break down to where I am at:

Sand Suites and Motel (Front Desk Agent): Foot in the door to get the hospitality experience, since I now have the degree. Two interviews, and am waiting to hear back.

Apple Farm: Applied for a Guest Services Position. Have followed up and have not heard anything

Washington Mutual: Teller positon and I have an interview on Tuesday

Wells Fargo: Teller Position. Need to follow up early next week

Vons: Cashier. Just applied tonight.

Sunset: Cashier job at a car wash. Need the money! Interviewed, so we shall see. Full time with guaranteed overtime.

Red Robin in Santa Maria: Waiting tables. 1st interview was today as well

Central Cardiology: Receptionist. Just submitted a resume

I have just applied also to the Paso Robles Wine Alliance for two amazing jobs. One of them is for Membership Coordinator and the other as an Administrative Assistant. Both great jobs in the wine tourism industry, which I am most passionate about. So now... start praying... especially me. Great opportunities to start my career doing something I would like.

In other news: I am sick! So to nurse it... relaxing and reading a book I have been wanting to read for a couple years and just never got to it. My friend, Richie, let me borrow it. It is called "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper. I will let you know how it is as I go through it. I have heard excerpts from it and it is awesome and I just read the beginning and it definitely could be good medicine for my discouraged soul. It may be what I recommend next. Also, Big Daddy Weave recorded "Let It Rise" and it has been encouraging the last couple days and the music from What About Sunday (What About Sunday-- the song" Presence" on www.whataboutsunday.com).

Thanks for all the encouragment and prayers. It means alot to me. Thanks to those who stick by me through the thick and thin and the muck of it all. I am blessed for it. The past few months have been hell, and your encouragement has helped me in not getting deeper in where I am at in depression and discouragement and trying to go up and trying to and desiring the joy and peace of God.
