Trusting in God's timing and in His details have been alot easier than I thought they would be. My New York trip went well, and was a much needed time away, and I am so thankful for that time. While, I didn't get the job I went through all those interviews for... I am glad I had an epiphany! I want to do something meaningful for people. People around me. To be in the community. To make an impact. My heart is still deeply for ministry. I love being used in youth ministry currently. I am big on building relationships and connecting with people. And the job I interviewed for would just have been a lateral move (while in my field) with more money... and it would be a mundane job.
So while my heart is in New York.... I know God is about the details. So now I wait on him. Still being proactive, and making the most of the moments I am in. I am still looking in New York, looking into Americorp as well, and also looking into ministry opportunities.... I will be looking in California too. So prayers for that.

2 Days til Take Off!
I have come to realize it is getting a little tough keeping up with two blogs-- all the while one being more specific to a current goal in my life and how I am working to attain it.
Well, in 2 days I will be getting on a plane in San Francisco (thanks to my best friend Ali putting me up the night before and letting Champ reside temporarily at her house; and Jason taking me to the airport!!) that is non-stop bound for New York, NY (JFK). Not too sure of where I would be staying in the city and was toying with the idea of couchsurfing.... against probably my better judgement and the lack of ease of my too caring and wonderful roommates and my mom.... and then trying to connect with friends of a friend (all the while having a hostel on standby.... a cost I was not 100% wanting to pay out!
So here I am two days before boarding a plane.... and it all seems surreal. I get to spend a couple of days in the city and then head out to Long Island for another few days before flying back to California on Tuesday :)
I am ready though... got the "meeting them finally" interview clothes picked out; packing tonight, and heading up to San Carlos tomorrow (with a couple of stops along the way in the Bay Area!).
Prepared to answer the tough questions (well I think I am anyways). I am not sure what is left to ask after 4 phone interviews (well one of those was a mock sales assessment.... so really 3 I guess). But this is probably the only face to face I will have, so I gotta look good.
I am looking forward to exploring, and will mildly tell of my adventures here, but will detail them on the other blog: Bold Moves:East Bound (nychereicome.wordpress.com)
Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement!!!!!
