Busy weekend.... some blessings and reminders.

I am so blessed! Friday night my roommates and friend Megan put together such a wonderful bday party for me (as I turn 25 tomorrow). I couldn't have asked for more than great fellowship, great food, fun games, and a bonfire pit with smores and banana boats. Megan made her famous (to me) Stuffed Green Peppers, and we had Fajitas (courtesy of Kristi), and the famous Bockhahn Artichoke dip with rice from Maddie and Nathan (and Justin of course), and an amazing pink Champagne funfetti cake made by wonderful Kim and Kristi. A few rounds of Poopy Head, and sitting by the fire. Thanks so much to Karen (Kristi's mom) for letting us invade the Homestead!

The rest of the weekend was busy with a baby shower for my dear friend Iskra on Saturday and a reunion with my lovely friend Laura who also came! Oh the old school Wesleyians were together again! Sunday was not so wonderful-- a memorial service for an old friend (been 4 years since we have spoken a word to each other), and her brother's father. It was like a mini-High School reunion with some people I have literally not seen since graduating. Wish the circumstances for meeting had been on a better note.

A long drive home, and now the week begins and I am anxiously excited for my and Brian Jost's roadtrip to the Bay Area in San Carlos to see Ali this coming weekend! Oh and it is the Joster's bday this weekend.
