I always say life is full of unexpectedness. So after I thought I totally bombed my last phone interview... I was surprised to find out.... they wanted me for a third interview. This time with a girl named Casey and she was wonderful. Definitely no challenging questions where I felt backed into a corner. We talked about my experiences and even about my 6-month marriage to my senior project about destination management and imaging, and summing up what I wrote and found within those 50 pages. I have never really talked much about it to people since completing it back in 2008. It was kinda cool to talk about something I worked hard on, accomplished, and completed in less than a year.
We also talked about when the position would begin, and it is quick.... like after I give my two weeks notice. But she seemed slightly flexible about things. She was telling me she lived on Long Island, but was commuting to the city everyday (Living in Port Washington). Maybe I should really start looking for places to live haha! Let's not get ahead myself just yet.
I should know this week if we are taking the next step in this process.... so now.... should I hold off on buying tickets for my "vacation" in September if I need to go before then?
So prayer is good.... this is a good opportunity for me, and the furthest I have gotten so far in this process. Your kind words friends and prayers have been a blessing to me. I was beginning to feel discouraged because for 2 years I have been trying to find a career job with room for growth and career building.... so we shall see what God does with this opportunity.
