The highlight was Friday night at a Restaurant I frequent, which is Thai Dheva
It is a great Thai restaurant (a real hole in the wall kind of place). This restaurant is my favorite in Grover Beach and on my Top 5 on the Central Coast, and the BEST Thai food around.... for the money and for the taste. It is a real win-win!
Located in Grover Beach on the corner of 5th and Grand sits Thai Dheva. When they first opened it looked like a hole in the wall inside... and out. And almost two years later since opening, they are still running strong... and evenings are super packed. With the vibrant colors it definitely creates a fun, but intimate atmosphere. Everything I have ever had on the menu is fantastic. 90% of the entrees price out at less than $10.00.
My favorite dishes are: Pumpkin Curry with Brown rice (even though it looks more purple); Pad Kee Mow (Spicy Noodles) w/Chicken, Yellow Curry, Pineapple Chicken, Sauteed Green Beans.... and I could keep going. I have had the Pad Thai (no peanuts), and it is amazing!
The people are so super nice who work there as well. Another great thing is the punch card. Buy 9 entrees and get a 10th one free. Talk about a bargain. I would go through one a week if money was no object. So, if you are looking for good Thai and you are here on the Central Coast, this is the best Thai you will find.... :)
