Where I Politically Stand...

So, with the election so close and my voting early through going to the clerks office in SLO... (too late to apply for absentee ballot), here I am.... ready to vote, I know why I have my stance on things.

Let's start with the propositions:

Proposition 2: YES! I think regardless of the end result of the animal-- farm, food source, breeding... we need to respect them and treat them well. Not over stuffing a cage with chickens.

Proposition 4: I think any medical procedure for a child under the age of 18 should be at the consent and knowledge of the legal guardian. Yes, there are circumstances like if a father rapes his child, but most abortions happen because the child doesn't want to deal with it. Well you shouldn't have sex to begin with if you are going to be dumb and irresponsible. No child should suffer because you forget to get a "raincoat"

Prop 8: YES! Yes, I do believe in separation of Church and State. Marriage is a RELIGIOUS term, not a government term. The term marriage dates back to the jews. The contract part is a government entity and legal rights and next of kin... all that is under the Civil Liberties Union. It is the churches choice on what they accept. If separation of church and state is true, then it needs to go both ways. ANYONE can have a civil union, how dare the government redefine a religious term. Marriage is a religious term, and needs to stay that way. This is not because I am anti-gay people and don't love them... But I support God and his commandments first. Jesus was and is always to the point, black and white when it comes to what NOT to do and what to do. I love God more than anything, and I don't want to see God pushed aside because the government is telling me I need to tolerate.... tolerate and believe are two different thing. Pretty soon the government will make it illegal for the church to deny the right to marry two same-sex people. That is the churches call, NOT THE GOVERNMENT!

McCain vs Obama:

Has Obama said anything yet? Or is he still harping on "Hope and Change"? Dear goodness dude, every politician says that.... but then they say how... when will you Obama?

I am for the war in Iraq. I have friends who have fought over there, and it would be a dishonor to pull out now to them. No one has enlisted with out the knowledge they would be deployed there. So we get mad the soldiers are there. THEY KNEW THEY WOULD BE SENT WHEN THEY ENLISTED!! We aren't having a draft, we have too many people enlisting. Some people I know request deployment and want to be there. Are they wrong? Or do you think we don't have ALL the facts about why we are there?

I am for bettering the economy, I am not for this economic stimulus package encore because we are now more indebt to China.

I am voting based on my Christian principles and faith. The same principles that were brought into the writing of the constitution, that now our Government wants to remove the mention of God from. OH GET OVER IT PEOPLE! Christians really are becoming the minorities. We don't have killing sprees because God told us to, we do love and we do pray. I don't hold a non-Christian to the standards of Christianity, because that is not fair. But if the government is going to mention God, pray at events and governement memorials, we have a president currently who's mentor is Billy Graham, politicians who spew their "religious beliefs", currently we have McCain holding to Christian values and Obama to his Muslim beliefs. Who will do worse damage these next four years? Who is out to save Average Joes? Who is not going to raise taxes--- taking more money out of the poverty stricken families? Politicians should be seen as a celebrity, and that is what one of our candidates have become. McCain was SMART to bring on Palin. She is a tough lady, and she is strong. Biden is not a strong running mate.

Prayerfully God will interviene and put in the best one out of these two. I do think we had better candidates to choose from... but with what we got... you got to pick the lesser of two evils, the one who is less likely to continue to ruin America, and the one who will continue to best align with the Christian values this country founded itself on.
