Today I heard from both the job in SLO and the family for whom is interested in having me nanny 3 days a week for their 11 month old son, Chase. It would be an ideal situation to have both work out. I would leave SD ASAP.... especially with how things went with HR. It shows that it is the best time to part ways with the Coffee Bean and move on to the next chapter in my life-- leaving my career in coffee behind.
Next Saturday I will be meeting the family I would be nannying for. It is ideal! They are a Christian family who attend Grace Bible in AG. She works in counseling at Cuesta, but I am not sure what the husband does. They have another child who goes to school I believe, so I would only be nannying Chase. All this is in exchange for their guest house which is one bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen. Perfect for me in a perfect location-- 2 or 3 blocks from the center of the Village in AG. Close to the freeway and everything, and close to church. I also would be able to babysit at night once in a while so the parents can have a no kids night out, and that pay is additional.
The job is in SLO, where the other days I am not nannying would occupy. I would make what I make now, and work like 25 hours a week. That money would only need to pay insurance, phone, and gas. Everything else can go towards paying off past bills and cleaning up my credit.
Trying not to get to hopeful... yet. I also have my official interview in SLO on Monday, but it seems almost like a guarantee at this point. I let her know (the manager) of the nanny thing and she said if I get it she would totally work with me on hours to make sure I am still working enough. How awesome is that?
Okay... yes... I should trust God more and know that He will provide the right opportunities. Being patient. Patience is the hardest thing for me... that's for sure.
I can't wait to cut my ties to the Coffee Bean!
