My root canal went alot better than I thought, and I was a little woozy after, but I was just taking it easy.
Jobs: Well, the nanny position did not end up working out and after alot of realization I know that living in California and having a degree in the hospitality industry is tough right now, and the economy is not helping. I applied for a position with a hotel in San Luis Obispo, and it is looking very promising. He mentioned I have a great resume, and I guess he worked for Starbucks when I did, so we have crossed paths a few times. It is full-time, and I would be picking the 5 days I would work each week.... YAY for Sundays off. It would be working 7-3, and a consistent schedule, and allotting time for me to have a second job and have a life at night with bible study and friends and whatnot. Something I don't have really now. I should know this week, but like everything else that has looked good... I just have to wait... not be anxious and realize God will work it all out. He knows the desires of my heart, and through obedience honors it.
I am learning so much about God's grace and provision, and it will be great to see everything come full circle.
While home, I was able to complete my absentee ballot/mail in ballot and get it done as I am still registered in SLO County and in the City of San Luis Obispo. This is such an important election, and while everyone is aware I am by no means a fan of Obama... I think he not completely honest, not a real politician, and the next four years with him are something I would like to see NOT happen. That is my opinion based on beliefs.
However, I do enjoy the Saturday Night Live clip with Will Ferrell on Bush's Endorsement... look it up on NBC.
