April is dragging, but it has had some good highlights. For those of you who are also my Facebook friend you were able to see the pictures from the 2nd Annual Ash Street Peep Jousting Event. Tons of fun, and tons of pictures of Brian. And not on purpose either. So it was a fun night.
Youth group is going well and it looks like the numbers are slowly climbing again, so it looks like something good in brewin'. I am stoked for the next couple of weekends as the guarantee a good preview of a busy May.... which previews probably a busy summer.
This weekend is Cal Poly Open House, and I will be going to see my department in action now that it truly is its own department. Go Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration Department. Also I will be catching the Saturday night rodeo on campus as well. Then the next weekend going to see my family and going to see the Yankees @ Angels stadium.... Go YANKEES! Super excited!
I am finishing up Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University" next week, and it has been amazing. I have learned alot about myself and how to go about things with money and how to better honor the Lord with my finances. It has been very character stretching as it has been looking at my priorities and what I am spending money on. How to get out of debt and stay out. Being broke is normal, and I don't want to be normal if that is the case. I will let the Government be normal :)
Yes, I am still pounding the NYC pavement via the internet for jobs and it has been tough and it is testing my patience but I am trying to remember that the Lord is faithful and provides.
