July was EXHAUSTING but Good

I think in the past year I have gone through more changes and search for "what should I do". I have experienced some awesome things including living in New York, realizing what chapters are still open and the others that have closed.... and I have also been blessed in being a part of both of my best friends getting married. Then, one more time... I moved. I think I should write a book... I have done it so much this past year and big ones at that.

I am settling well in LA, and it feels right. There is no honeymoon phase or "awe" factor. It just feels normal, comfortable, and familiar. Coming with it has also come readjusting to searching for parking when I get home... my first car ding I got from the parking lot at work, and my driver side mirror getting replaced due to someone's bad driving and carelessness (I assume). However, I am now working 50+ hours a week, trying to settle in to somewhat of a work "schedule" and the time and days off I have I can get together with friends and I have been able to hang out with my sister when she is down with my dad.

Best part of July.... one of my best friends and hubby coming down to visit for the weekend and then going to the Yankees v.s. Dodgers game with my dad. I like both teams and cheer them on.... but together... I love the Yankees. Awesome game, even though NY didn't win... but they won the next day :).

I still have a little downsizing to do as I am going back to a room verses having stuff to fill an entire apartment. I have adapted to heat, but then it has not been too hot overall.... but hey... I do love it when it is hot.

Part of the chapter includes retiring my phone number of 10 years... and taking on a So. Cal prefix.... which goes into effect Monday. If I don't text you..... message me to make sure you get it if you want it. My only request: to not give it out. If someone needs it they can find me via facebook or you can let me know and I will get into contact with them.

Other than that.... life is the same of work... work.... work... and then a little bit of fun. Haven't had a "me" day yet... but I think one is to come soon.
