December Tidbits

December has had lots of crazy with busyness and whatnot, and now maybe things will slow down (fat chance with Christmas about 2 weeks away)! Anyway... I have also been keeping up on my other specialized blog: nychereicome.wordpress.com.... so if you have not checked it out... then you are missing some hopeful changes to come, and then you will be shocked when it happens :)

Not really. But it has been a great place to organize my thoughts, continue to improve my writing skills, and become a little more creative and expressive with my thought life.

Update: Drive-Thru Nativity this past weekend was a wonderful community outreach opportunity with close to 1300 people coming through on the weekend. The biggest blessing to me in it all was hearing people tell the story of Jesus' life as they drove through (since they had their windows down), and it was such a blessing to hear these conversations happening. I hope they were happening in the cars for those who didn't know Jesus and that it was of great ministry to their hearts-- especially in this season.

Media News: My friend Brian King (I have to detail which one since I know a few great guys named Brian).... well he has started this awesome website/business called Your Daily Jingle (yourdailyjingle.com), and 20% of his profits will go to a charity of your choice. And he will write you a unique song. I wonder if he realizes that this could be his break into showbiz. People need tv commercial and radio spot jingles all the time. Hmmmm.... so, get a personal jingle written and sung on your behalf and help out a wonderful cause at the same time. You can also on Twitter and Facebook!

Prayer: For my brother Perry. Has such a hardened heart and there is so much deep and buried anger that has such a grip in his life. He has no joy, direction with life, and is living with the rose colored glasses on. There seems to be no fruit in his life, and he definitely does not see Jesus for who He truly is. So prayer for Him to truly repent and come to Jesus and for God to remove his rebellious heart. Its been a hard few months with him and my family so prayer for that as well.

Other than that: Things are good, no complaints. I sure am enjoying my favorite time of the year. I hope this time of year is a blessing as we remember who truly give us life and how HIS BIRTH is the only reason we have a chance! Praise Jesus! He truly is the reason for this season!
