Church Break Perhaps?

Contemplating taking a church break. Not a break from God... that could never happen.... but just being in a fellowship. I don't like the drama, politics, and I don't like the hypocrisy. I want a body of believers who are honest, genuine, and love others as Christ loves them. Is that alot to ask? The church (as a whole today) is not the church Christ desired.... and yet here we are. How do we get back to the heart of why we fellowship and worship together? Prayer? Commitment? The enemy is really getting the advantage in tearing churches apart and it is so disheartening.
