Around the World in 4 Days

July is starting off with lots of driving. Friday night I drove to Frazier Park and back to get my mom and sister so that is 300 miles round trip, then Sunday Kim and I drove up to Napa (Kim drove) and that was 300 each way so a total of 600 miles... and then yesterday I drove to Ventura with my mom and sister to meet up with my dad and that was 110 miles and then I drove back from Ventura after staying at Nat's last night and drove another 110 this morning. That is a total of 1120 miles in 4 days. I am tired.

With all that was awesome exciting times of 4th of July and in that celebrating with my mom and sister, roommate Kim, neighborish Toby, and friends and church family at church. Every year Oak Park has a BBQ and fireworks show and it was just such a positive time, and was so much fun. LOUD fireworks which scared every child under the age of 3, and the men of the church.... loved every moment of lighting things off. Again, thanks to Armando, Corey, and Randy for everything in that and setting up! Clean up after 45 minutes of contant TNT fireworks is no easy task!

The next morning was met by Kim and myself bright and early as we headed to Napa! My first time up there, and we went to get Kristi to bring her home for a few days before she returns for the remainder of her summer to care for her grandmother. So it was so much fun driving up and then getting there, and having luncgh with her Uncle Roger and Grandma Bockhahn. Then we went to Beringer Winery in Napa (Well really St. Helena, California) Great wine, but also such a beautiful landscape, buildings, and property the winery sits on. Absolutely stunning. My facebook will have them up!! It was seriously a wonderful roommate day and so fun! My first time in Napa and I got to wine taste (the white wines anyways).

Then Monday I spent with my mom and sister before driving down to Ventura to meet up with my dad who has just returned from Denver, Colorado where he was attending a family reunion. So, we met up there to trade off the fam, and then spur of the moment visiting Natalie (Roon), which then turned into my spending the night and playing Sequence with her and the family she lives with (who are all awesome people), and watching Scrubs Mini-Marathon, and playing this new game I learned called Ninja! Talk about Physical Exersion on that one. So fun, then this morning had breakfast and then a whirlwind and quick tour of Ventura (well really Roon showing me the house she grew up in and then also her church!), and now I am back home in AG, and it was so tiring, but so worth all of it.

Also had Disneyland from last week, so there has not been any real calming time as of yet. Maybe next week. I was let go from my job last week and it has been such the ordeal and my mom is telling me it is a huge blessing to be out of there. We shall see. God only knows right?! I had an interview last week at Monarch Club at Trilogy (Shea Homes) in Nipomo and I have one doing Marketing and Sales in Nipomo as well. I also need to follow up on a hotel position in Santa Maria. So, I am blessed with my parents who have really stepped up to help me out. I am blessed and lucky. God is providing through them. It is great having Kristi back home for a few days, and great time with family, and seeing Roon, and just letting life happen!

So much going on and it is only July 7th. Weird though.... yesterday I was driving down to Ventura with my mom when it dawned on me that a year ago yesterday I moved to San Diego. Talk about a crazy year since. Moved there, moved back, and here I am now. Talk about crazy! I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be living with the most wonderful people I know, and surrounded by huge blessings. I couldn't ask for more right?
