Full February

February has been quite the month... first I must cheer and shout as I am so glad the Giants won the Superbowl. I am not big into football (in comparison to my loyalty and love for the Yankees), but good game. Now... if the Jets ever made it to the Superbowl... that would be awesome.

With the shortest month of the year only half way done it has started out well. For those who caught the screenshot one of my dear friends put on my Facebook page-- I went to Ellen last Thursday with my wonderful roommates and it was so much fun. I love how all that stuff goes with production and seeing how it all comes together. Very fast paced in comparison to tv shows I have seen taped. The next day, we went down to Disneyland and it was a lot of fun, and the perfect weather.

Now... the update-- my interview with Verizon for the position in NY was postponed, and so I interview in just a couple days. The time has given me a chance to connect with the ASM in the city to find out some things, which was very helpful in going into the interview and to also let my final numbers for January post. I am approaching this month just as aggressive and pushing what I can and want to be at the top when February finishes out.  So prayers for this week.

Also, I am going to be going to another allergist.... cause my doctor is not a fan of the one I went to and wants all my tests redone including blood work. Oh joy.... and he knows my love of needles (HA). Also, I have caved and will be seeing an eye doctor as in recent months driving at night as been really problem-matic and my near-vision (thanks to my roaring 20's as a student in front of a computer and text books-- and my awesome job) is not as 20/20 as it used to be. So, I will be seeing someone this week. Other than that... I am pretty healthy in the midst of everyone else around me getting sick.

Tomorrow is my bah-humbug day. Now, I am all for loving people and all that crap. I feel like I love people everyday. I don't agree with the hallmark marketing and the rise is flower costs. I don't agree with the world making you feel like crap when you are not attached (and for the record.... it is by choice I am currently single.... cause well the "m" word still scares me most of the time)... anyways... tomorrow I will be working and making money while everyone else out there is spending way too much that they wouldn't normally spend until Christmas. And heck, I just bought myself some nice shades this weekend-- does that count? Cause I am the best gift giver for me... I always get what I want and need. Just sayin'.

Also.... here is my blurb: I care a lot less about issues than I used to. Let me explain... recently (and coincidently), Ellen Degenerous was bashed by the group One Million Moms on Facebook. JCPenney recently went into a partnership with Ellen for her to be their new spokes person. She is one of the most giving celebrities in the industry and well respected. Well this group... whom only have 44,000 members... not sure where the other 956,000 are... but went off on both JCPenney and Ellen for pushing the gay agenda. First off... shopping at Penney's... won't make you gay or not gay. This group claims to be Christians, but are quick to judge a world that is not supposed to be held to the same standard (no non-believer is). As Ellen said the values she lives by are ones that are good and universal of giving to others, respecting others, treating others the way you want to be treated, and being kind, and loving others. If God is love... where does bashing come into that? Well I realized.... if it doesn't personally affect me or my relationship with God... who am I to bash someone else? Who am I to say "your stuff stinks worse than my stuff?" How dare I tell someone who does not share my beliefs to hold my Christian principles as their own when they don't even know Christ. Even if they do.... I need to love people first, and not offer my opinion unless asked. I have been asked, and in a loving way I have said "I love you and while this or that is not for me or personal values or beliefs I hold based on my relationship with Jesus it is up to you what you follow and between you and God how you take care of things".  I am not saying what is right and wrong here... because I live my life based on what I believe is right and what I feel God would call me to do".... I am no less of a Christian because unmarried people choose to live together or because of same sex marriages or partnerships. I am no less saved because people want to legalize marajuana. I vote because I care about my country and I see the needs and vote according to the issues that do affect me personally such as economical issues and international affairs and taxes.

(jumps off soapbox).... I will say... someone said based on what I do think I am probably more leaning towards Libertarian (fiscally conservative and socially liberal).... I am beginning to agree with that.

OKay, that is all! :)
