So Where Will Hope Get Me?

Some of you know, and some of you don't know... I had been tossing around a few ideas of "what's next in my life?". With out current economy, holding just a Bachelor degree means nothing anymore. I mean, 7 out of 10 people have them. So I was tossing around the idea of Dental Assisting School (which is a great route), and also graduate school. I did the Cal Poly thing, and loved it, but ready for something more conducive and something to  where I can be educated in a better environment. Learn the ethics of business by Christian standards, and not the world's standards.

Many of my friends have attended and graduated from Hope International University down in Fullerton. Many of them also completed alot of their coursework online, and so I looked into it... cause I don't want to move to Fullerton, or really live in Orange County.... and so two weeks ago I sent for an informational kit and have been speaking back and forth with the Assistant Director of the Graduate Studies program and now have begun the process of applying. I am working on my Statement of Purpose and Intent, along with getting my Recommendation letters needed as well. If everything goes well... I would be starting the program in January with a hopeful completion date of December 2011. Crazy, but it will be great to have it done and be more marketable, and get the job I desire and need to then really pay all of my education back.

So please be in prayer!! I am applying for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resource Management (even though I am a little torn between that and Non-Profit Management). So prayer for concentration direction, and guidance through this process, and learning to reallocate my time and energies to this commitment. For God to be glorified in my studies that come with this.
