Something More

Being 25 has some perks and then not so much. At 25 you can rent a car at a lower rate, you are seen as a true adult (which also has its downsides), and..... well that about does it for that end. Then there is being asked "You are 25, so what are you going to do with the rest of your life?", or "Why aren't you married or ready to have kids?" or.... the other day "yeah, you look about 25 with the lines and wrinkles around your eyes".

I want something more from life than working at a car dealership, living in a state in severe financial crisis (since the days of Pete Wilson and Grey Davis). I want to be able to get out of debt, have tangible items to show how hard I have worked. I want to know what else is there.... or is this it? I feel like it is interesting that without mentioning anything first to my roommates they both have this "ready to go" feeling of going somewhere else. One is wanting to go into research and the other to teach overseas, and I am ready to move 2,800 miles away... once the job falls into place. I apply for so many jobs per week from private firms to ABC to bigger companies and surrounding areas.... all out of California. I want something bigger, be something bigger, and go. I have had this itch for years. The difference for San Diego were my circumstances and reasons (which at the core were not good ones).

Obstacles: I can't move anywhere without a job in place. So prayer for that obstacles would not be the driving force preventing my moving ahead and moving forward. I don't have a specific time goal yet, but next Fall.... I would like to have made major progress.
